Terms of Service

By using DogDish, you agree to follow these terms. DogDish is a food-safety tool, not a veterinary diagnosis or emergency service.

Last updated: July 2, 2026 Use of service

1. Acceptance

If you access or use DogDish, you agree to these terms and to any additional rules that apply to a specific feature, purchase flow, or platform.

If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

DogDish helps you scan pet food labels, grade ingredients, flag risky ingredients, check recalls, store pet profiles, track treats, and use community features when they are available.

We may change, add, or remove features at any time. We also may set limits on usage, rate limits, storage, or supported platforms so the service stays stable.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information, keep your login secure, and make sure anyone who uses your account follows these terms. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

If you think someone has used your account without permission, contact us as soon as possible.

4. Subscriptions and billing

If DogDish offers paid plans, the price, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation flow will be shown before you confirm the purchase. You are responsible for any fees that your platform, bank, or carrier applies.

Refunds are handled according to the rules of the applicable payment platform and local law. If a purchase is billed through a third-party platform, its own refund and cancellation rules may also apply.

5. User content

You keep ownership of the content you submit, but you give DogDish a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content so we can run the service.

You promise that you have the rights needed to upload the content, and that it does not infringe other people's rights or violate any law.

  • Do not upload malware, spam, harassment, or content that is illegal or deceptive.
  • Do not upload content you are not allowed to share.
  • Community content may be visible to other signed-in members.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse DogDish. That includes scraping without permission, reverse engineering the service, trying to bypass rate limits or security, sending harmful code, or using the app in a way that disrupts the experience for other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that appear to be abusing the service.

7. Disclaimers and limits

DogDish is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Food grades, ingredient flags, and recall checks are designed to help you decide, but they can be incomplete or out of date.

DogDish is not veterinary advice, not a medical diagnosis, and not an official recall authority. To the maximum extent allowed by law, DogDish and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of the service.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material, we will publish the new version here with a revised date.

For questions about these terms, email hello@dogdish.app. These terms are interpreted under the law that applies to your use of the service, subject to mandatory local consumer protections.
